"If Pulse was around when I started, I wouldn't have an office full of paperwork."

Lindsay has practised architecture for more than 30 years and delivered over 300 projects around the world. For the last two decades she has run Mattinson Associates, a boutique residential studio known for complex, high-value homes and demanding clients.

She has spent her career at the point where projects go wrong: a change nobody wrote down, a client left waiting for news, a decision nobody can find when it matters. At Pulse she keeps the product grounded in how practices really run.

Lewis Wood

"I do love architecture at the end of the day, but I just don't like the day-to-day of having to do all the admin."

Lewis qualified as an architect in the last few years and has worked across every RIBA stage. Before that he launched and exited e-commerce businesses, which taught him how to build and test a product quickly.

He started Pulse to fix his own working day: he had the pain points and guessed other architects did too. He leads the product, design and technical roadmap, and still iterates it alongside practising architects.
